Battlefield BC2 looking dam sweet

I'm pulling my hair out with this tbh now, It runs like a dog at every res and every graphical setting (single figure FPS). Forcing it onto DX9 it works fine but DX10/11 is simply unplayable.

I'm running Cat 10.1 and it also uses 100% of the GPU ram and increases my ping from 40 (DX9) to 200-300 for DX10.

Whats that about..

I dont have the greatest spec but runs fine (30-40fps) on medium

Pentium dual core E6300 (new one) @ 3.6
ATI 4850 512Mb
4Gb
Win7

I have set it to DX9 in the settings.ini

Latest Cat whatever the ver is on their website (not at my pc just now)
 
Dropped AA and AF a couple of notches to 4x/8x respectively and gained 20+ fps on a 4870, running at ~40-60 now.

Everything else maxed @1680x1050, Dx10.

Worth buying another 4870 for ~£80 of save for a 5870?
 
Oh how very lame. My Beta will not open. I click install and was first getting a message saying it cannot recognise it and asks if it is a valid Windows installer. now I get this -

Corrupted dl?

If I cancel my order with Play and pre-order with Steam, can I dl the beta through Steam or do you have to use the seperate exe?
 
Finally got my key through from Play! Got the client downloading now, looking forward to trying it out.

Is there an in game way of reporting bugs/errors/thoughts, aka the report bug method like CSS? Or is it forum only?
 
runs pretty rubbish for me aswell, maybe 5 - 10 fps difference between high and low. ~30 - 40 fps. beta though, plenty of time for them to fine-tune it, also ati will hopefully tweak the drivers a bit to help.
