Crisps you miss . . . .

Tavern Snack's Turkey and Stuffing flavour. The gentleman's crisp, like eating a meal with your pint. Sorely missed.

They were hollow tube like crisps but had sealed ends. They had really thin walls which made them very fragile, most of the time at least 50% of the back was just shards of crisps.

Yes, those are the tube ones I'm thinking of, they were lovely!!! Most of the time as you say the vast majority were broken, so I tended to crush the whole lot and enjoy tipping them into my mmouth, yummy!!!

The little bags of Cheeselets - I can only ever seem to get the massive tubs of them around Christmas (and even then I end up abusing my cardiovascular system horribly by eating the whole thing in one sitting :p).

Those square things that used to fizz and stick to your tongue if you left it there.
Had a dragon on the packet or something.

Name failure though :(

Does anyone remember Puffs? Quite possibly the messiest crisps around. Half the crisps would be broken before you opened the bag so you are left with razor sharp fragments in the bottom.

I had forgotton all about those!

They weren't exactly filling, but they were my favourite crisps for quite a while when I was a kid :)

Does anyone remember the bag of crisp in a shiny blue pack which were chocolate covered pretzels which also came in white chocolate, they were amazing forget the name of them.

Red Pesto and Parmesan Kettle Chips easily the best crisps in the world!

Lay's Wavy Ranch Potato Chips were great too, not sure if you could ever get them in this country though (I used to get them from the AAFES BX when I lived in Germany), you can still get them in the US I'm sure.

Salt and Vinegar Discos, the old flavour used to blow your brains out it was so strong, same with the old Pickled Onion Monster Munch and Scampi Fries.
