This is not true. Under the AV system the Lib Dems would have gained 40-50% more MPs than they did.

In this election, the Lib Dems have moved to second place party in well over 100 constituencies, indicating the AV system would have served them even more this election.

Don't rule out FPTP with AV.

Bloody libdems spoliered the election of the Tories with stupid tv debates and we are in the messed up situation that the third most popular party is calling the shots and yet again preventing the most popular party from forming government.
