Is TRIM not working ?

I have 30GB free space. Have i filled it too much ?

I had this very thing last night - your results match the ones I had after I disabled write caching. Just check it is still enabled.

I enabled write caching and got:

That has made a difference but, Is it acceptable ?

Thanks mate, I suppose i read an SSD guide and disabled it.

Intel toolbox (Newer version) has passed everything except a full diagnostic test.

I just installed the newest chipset driver (AHCI Controller) too, Is there any other driver that affects this ?

The Intel drive is being driven by a microsoft driver from 2006 !

It seems the only results that have not suffered are the sequential speeds, What would that mean ? Drive is too full ?

Somethings wrong

Your access times are very, very slow. Even my 9 mo. old G1's only got down to .188 ms / .067 ms.

I use Acronis Home 2010 to clone to an HD, then used HDDErase to secure erase the drive, then cloned back to SSD.

Here's my AS SSD results for two G1's (80GB):

Are those weekly results? Good on you for taking the time to maintain them!

What SATA controller chipset is on your motherboard? If it's an Intel you want to be using their own drivers.

I think it is Marvell ?

The Gigabyte P55-GA-UD5 is my motherboard:

I do have the msahci.sys in the driver tab for 'Intel(R) 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset Family 6 Port SATA AHCI Controller - 3B22' which i have read is the correct one to have for the TRIM command to be sent to the drive but, When i look at properties on the Intel device the driver is from 2006 !

Any other drivers i need ?
