This is it! This is the big one you’ve been waiting for!!! Exactly twenty five years to the day since Marty McFly first sped off in Doc Brown’s suped-up DeLorean Time Machine in the parking lot of the Twin Pines Mall towards 1955, Universal Studios Home Entertainment (USHE) will release the 25th Anniversary Back to the Future Trilogy Boxed Set on DVD — and for the very first time on Blu-ray Disc — Tuesday, October 26, 2010!

Via BTTF Time Travel Terminal

Anyone else mega excited for this? :D:D:D Hope a Region B is released at the same time!

That's not all!

This Collectors Edition Tin Includes A Delorean blueprint, An 'Outtatime' number plate, The Sports Almanac, Save The Clocktower poster & A Lenticular photo of Marty's family plus much, much more!

The one without the above is £37.99 and included is £44.99.

No brainer for any BTTF fan :)

Depends on how good the picture quality is over dvd.
Of course. Anything that comes out on Blu-ray that I already have on DVD is only bought if its a significant increase in the picture quality. So I will wait until nearer the release date to see what the reviews say and what the picture quality is like.

I'm hoping that because of the adulation of the trilogy the Blu-ray release will indeed be top quality.

Woo!

Must order this!

Oh, and a Blu-Ray player, too, I guess, so I can watch it!

(That'll then be every release of the trilogy - original "black" DVD (with the framing/audio issues), then the revised "blue" DVDs, and now hopefully the Blu-Ray - oh, and add to that the VHS releases too!)
