I'm using the Chrome dev channel releases with various extension that are also available on my Firefox install and recently discovered that if you highlight a link and drag it left then it opens that link in a new BG tab to the left of the tab bar and right if dragged right, I thought this was a damn cool feature!

But in light of this coolness I discovered the "balance restorer" where Chrome devs decided to remove the --bookmark-menu flag functionality so you no longer get the bookmarks button menu so have to use the bookmarks toolbar or ctrl+shift+b or this extension.

I'm slowly migrating to Chrome but there's a few things I am missing still, a FTP client that rivals Firefox's FireFTP and a bbcode extension like BBCode Xtra.

What cool Chrome stuff have you discovered?

Hmm I don't know about cool but the built-in flash player is a good feature in my opinion. It also installs without admin rights, which is interesting in so much it's not very common.

I do want to switch to Chrome as its so much faster than Firefox, so I'm very interested to hear about some of the cool stuff you've found with Chrome to tempt me even more into switching

You can sync bookmarks and settings between computers that share your google account. I just got my new laptop and all I did was sync it up and my homepage and bookmarks are all copied over :D. You can delete a bookmark on one, and within a few seconds it will go on anything you have it synced to.

Pretty neat.
