that will be why i cant comment, however winamp 3 basically left them dead in the water, start of the bloatware

5 removed the bloatware, they went back to their Winamp 2 roots, modern skins are now just a plugin you can choose not to install, if you use classic skins then it's just as light as Winamp 2. My Winamp 5.581 is using 8MB of RAM, hardly bloated.

yeah had no issues with 5, my comment was souly based on winamp3 which was terrible!
