Asus GamerOSD is awesome, I have bene using FRAPS up until now, GamerOSD encodes directly to XViD unlike FRAPS which records to a raw video format resulting in huge videos so you have to re-encode before uploading to youtube.

GamerOSD records at DVD resolution if you want it to and the quality/size is great too.

Enjoy!

Just a note,if you use 64bit Windows 7 then download via the support site I linked above as the first link is 32bit only.

No more lag than FRAPS (so no lag).

Recording videos will always cause some fps drop, it's impossible to avoid this.

so does it actually have an OnScreenDisplay? and what information is on this OSD? or are they just calling it OSD to try and sound down wid da geeks yo

Personally I still use Fraps as I record at 1920x1200 not DVD resolution and downscale from there but yeah, for anyone wanting a freebie this will be just fine :p

Noticed at the bottom of the page under 'system requirements' there was this:

"ASUS graphics cards (30-day trial period for non-ASUS cards)"

Without trying to state the obvious, does that mean that if you don't have an ASUS card, it won't be free after 30 days?

Hmmm not sure, the app itself doesn't say anything that would indicate a trial!

There is no option to register it, so I am guessing no, it is free forever. :D
