Had a txt read on on Radio one :) on Scott Mills - RE: Gary Bint

Finally after many attempts I got a text read out on radio1 after work, after 2 songs, no other texts, just me,

hehe, did anyone listen to it?

It was reference to the "Creamy Goodness" name that my mate had his name changed to by deedpole and the guy on the radio who had a listener poll to change his last name from Gary Bint to Gary McFly

I used to get my cheesily cheerful chart suggestions read out quite often by Mark and Lard. I even once got phoned by the producer and told I could go on air if I was able to get to the Yorkshire coast by Friday. Sadly I had to turn him down.

Can't remember which DJ it was but a couple of years back I got one read out when they asked for opinions on a new girls aloud song.

I stated it sounded like a drowning moose having its legs carved off with a rusty spoon which got some lols. Me = chuffed.

Also got pete tong to play dj jean - the launch for me ages ago

I had Colin Murray read out one of mine - he was discussing how historians had come to the conclusion that Scots had invented Rap (!?) and was asking for people to text in rappers names suitably adjusted to sound scottish. After some time and some average entries he closed the subject and said he wasn't going to read out any more...then I had a eureka moment and I entered this gem: Will.i.am Wallace

I had one read out the night before download when Mike Davies and Daniel Carter were on Zane Lowes show, they Mike and Zane were dissing Daniel's beard so I said I was working security at download (I was) and that if they didn't have a beard they wouldn't get backstage

I don't like most of the presenters on Radio 1. Annie Mac is the only one really

Can only imagine how many texts they get in though.. Kinda lucky that yours got read.
