**British Armed Forces Discussion Thread**

Good luck mate, hope it all goes swimmingly!

On a side note do any of you guys know any good places to buy deactivated weapons? I've tried various google sources but they are quite pricey and I'm wondering if the armed forces sell off old stock somewhere.

Well this is as good as any time to post for what might be the last time for a while... Seen as setting off early tomorrow morning to start...

Been a long time coming, the feelings of excitement are slowly turning into nerves :) But looking forward to the good times over the hard times :)

Good Luck, I am sure you will be very successful and will love the life.

Have fun mate, just remember all the 'square bashing' and bullcrap that you go through is just a game, play the game - keep your head down - and you will do just fine :)

Hope things are going well so far lemonkettaz. The first few days are a killer of BOREDOM! lol.

I'm currently waiting for the next hour to find out if I failed my course or not, and whether or not I'm getting promoted. The promotion board has sat already, just need to get the results passed down.

Nervous..... only slightly.... I'm shaking here lol.

You'll be fine! If not, though, can I have your gun lol?!

I'm serious.

Good luck! :)

As said, its one big game. Loads of bull crap, loads of crap (impossible) timings that you will get bollockings for not meeting and jack jobs you wouldn't have gotten if you had been there on time (yeah right :p)

Best of luck.

Well done mate :)! You out rank me now

Doesn't mean I'd do what you tell me though :p

You best be buying the biscuits for the section tomorrow :D

The only thing I'll be doing tomorrow is;
1) Shake the CO's hand, get my stripe
2) Kit exchange
3) Putting in leave on JPA

lol :D.

Well, er, wow. Received a pack from Westbury this morning, and just gotten round to opening it.

I have been passed fit to attend Briefing, and given my dates, which are just a month away. My GP must have written a damned good letter..

My payrise could do with hurrying up, being on 13k a year is jivving...

A stripe wouldn't be bad either like :D maybe in a couple of years eh.
