Clio 200 Cup via finance

As in they have dyno'd loads of standard Fn2's.

You're still making little sense. There are major differences between the K20 in the DC5 and UKEP3.

There are NO major differences between the K20 in the FN2 and EP3.

Your argument that a 198hp car dynos at 210-215hp is just lol. I'm sure an EP3 could dyno at 215 at honda tunerz R us, it's still a 197hp car.

Hmm... the more and more I see this thread in motors the more and more im thinking i want to ditch my 1.4 clio n find the money for the insurance because i can easily manage the £200 a month... and if it keeps up with a focus rs on the twisty tight courses then thats nuf' reason for me!

At least the offer is running till december 31st to give me some time to think about it, because lifes too short after all! :)

I think the long and short of it is, if you can afford 200 quid a month - give it a go :)
It'll be a great fun car and hopefully hassle free as it's brand spanking new.
..or be sensible/boring/cost effective and buy a bland and boring car like the majority of road users.

That Clio vs. RS video is very misleading, they are two different drivers - probably not that great drivers either, and its always easier to follow.

I'm really really starting to lilke these, I wonder what 2 year old models will be selling for next summer at main dealers

And the 197 is a bit confusing, is the RS200 a facelift or is it a totally different build inc interior etc, the 197 seemed a bit shortlived and from what I can tell in the pics the RS200 interior seems to have come a long way since the early Renault Sports but its hard to tell in the pics

'06 197s are going for as little as around £6500 now, but I suspect this is helped somewhat by the 200 replacing the 197. I reckon two year old examples will hang around the 9k mark.

I suspect they are rather better than yourself.

Really? Can you tell that from that short video and having never seen me drive?

It is possible, I'm sure - but if the test was honest, and they were both good drivers then the RS would be significantly ahead. I suspect whoever was driving the RS was a member of the crew.

It's just as plasticy, however I don't think anyone buys these for interior quality :p

What can't you do? Honestly? I think you're the only person in the whole world that seems to be good at absolutely everything, better than the pros.. Shall we email a don and get your title changed to 'Self Professed Master of the Universe'?

I'm not saying I'm a better driver, I just want to know how Fox has deduced that they are both better drivers without even knowing who one of them is, and without ever seeing me drive.

True but the 172's and 182's were a bit too far for me, I glanced at a 200's interior recently and from what I could tell it was worlds apart but I could be very wrong

Has anyone on here got one that could post unshopped pics of the interior of a 200? I might go and have a nosey at a dealer but I cant be arsed with the head peckers

I don't think the gap between ST and Clio is as big as you'd like it to be Mike.

The ST only pulls away on straights, defeating the point of a hot hatch? Why not just get a 6 cyl BMW instead and enjoy the comfort?

and why do you keep saying we've not seen you drive? There's a vid of you in the youtube thread isn't there?
