Maidens butcher on hindley high street near the x roads.
And yes it was a birdseye steam bag of veg. My healthy bit for the day. Unfortunatly all my veg I grew was turned into soup for the last 3 week so this was my first meat for a while
I'm going back tomorrow to pick up 15 proper chicken breast for £15, not them pathetic excuses you see in the supermarket, Two maybe times bigger.
Wish we had somewhere like that for fresh veg and milk

Where are the chips with that steak?
What's the point in trying to make a huge piece of fried beef like that appear healthy by serving it with second rate boil in the bag vegetables. Do yourself a favour and eat it with chips already

Generally really good chicken breasts should be smaller than those in a super market. Most super market chicken comes from one or two breeds that have been specifically bred to produce more breast meat as that is where the profit is. Really good chicken from an older slow growing bread should taste nicer and be better for you but I would definately expect it to be smaller size wise.

Usually he sorts us out a cheaper price or throws in an extra steak or two to our order.
just picked up 2.5lb of chicken breast for £15, 2 weeks teas sorted

I paid £15 for 2.3kg from costco, and the meat from costco is always significantly better than that from asda/tesco/morrisons
Saying that though, i had to get some meat from Asda the other day as the farm I go to has stopped breeding the angus cows and only do pork and lamb now
I tried the Asda Extra Special 28 day mature beef joint, and it was actually really damn good! I buy all my lamb and pork from a local farm, excellent quality but a shame they've stopped breeding the angus'

Shouldn't you vary your meat component throughout the week? I mean, I love chicken and all, but I couldn't have it for dinner every night for 2 weeks!
My dad used to be the head of the PTA at my primary school (private school) So they always had various events and there was always a need for a BBQ.
There was a butcher about 20minutes from our house. Were some of the best sausages and burgers from there
They shut down a free years ago Dad knew him quite well considering he spent £1000s there over the years!
