I'm half tempted with the 480...

HMm... actually, doing some searching... if I'm going to be spending that kinda money, I may be better off waiting to see if the 570 comes down in price.

It seems to have lower power requirements, and more importantly, performs a tiny bit faster?

End of the day your going to have a beefy card if thats the price bracket your looking at, games will be sweet...

Personally I would go with the 6950... new bios's and voltage tweaking will no doubt be coming out soon...

Problem is, I can't really go ATI.

-.-

I'm building a new system next year, and I want to do a lot of video editing, and adobe's rendering engine in Premiere and some of the photoshop filters support CUDA from NV only.

I COULD go with ATI, but it would make editing slower.

Plus, though not exactly a big thing, I want to try out Physx. I've been with ATI for ages now... so it's not like I'm biased, I don't really 'care' about brand...

Just go a 570, runs cooler than a 480 uses less power but games the same, you want cuda you gotta go Nvidia. I think we will see some 570's going for less fairly soon, they do retail for £260 if you search for them

What's the min PSU required for a 570?

I've got a corsair 520W HX...

I'm not sure if I should just grab the 570 now with the 5 percent sale, or wait for jan and order it with my 2500K + MB :(

*EDIT*

Seems 550 W?
