Flickering pixel on plasma TV.

i have a pixel that flickers pink on my 42" Panasonic plasma TV. it is really annoying me and out of warranty. any idea how i can fix this?

I doubt it's even fixable without replacing the panel TBH. I assume you've tried leaving it unplugged overnight or for a couple of days?

Gently rub / "massage" it with your finger. Slight pressure but not too much. Try googling it too

I have tried pressing it. No joy.
It seems worse when playing xbox rather than watching tv. No easy fix then, will have to try and ignore it then.

Don't do this ^^^^^

There's a glass panel over the actual plasma, it's not an LCD, this won't work.

yup, you wont actually get any pressure on the panel due to the glass.

my aging pioneer plasma has a sticky red pixel, you just have to try and ignore it unfortunately.

Will a HDMI cable effect this? I think it is more likely the screen.

Googled "Gently rub / massage with finger"

and i don't think the results were anything to do with struck pixels on a plasma
