There was no infrastructure left in germany, what with the raf bombing by night and the usaf bombing by say. Scorched earth was a policy the russians used, the further the germans advanced into russia, the more their supply lines were stretched, they couldnt live on captured goods as stalin had ordered a scorched earth policy, when the 6th army reached stalingrad, they were at their limit, and eventually when the red army counter attacked, (operation uranus), they hit the weakest point in the axis lines, (the italians) and proceeded to soround von paulus and the entire 6th army.

Unforyunately, by declaring war on the united states, germany woke up a nation with an unprecedented capability to fight a war, an industrial nation that could commit unlimted reserves of manpower, weaponry, the biggest mistake hitler made was to declare war on the usa, in the words of one historian, "i fear we have awoken a sleeping giant".

Yes, although it was Japan that did this. Hitler was probably furious after trying hard to avoid war with Britain + US
 
Yes, it was japan that attacked america, hitler with his ludicrous anti semitic ideas turns round and says that international jewery dragged him into a war with the usa, complete nonsense, he had no need to back japan in what ultimately turned out to be a pacific conflict, he declared war on the usa when he had no need to, japan and germany didnt even support each other with military equipment, well apart from hirohito giving von ribbentrop a presentation samurai sword, hardly much of a benefit militarily in the grand scheme.

I remember watching a program on telly one night about the takeover of white owned farms in zimbabwe, the ruination of a country once known as the bread basket of africa. It basically destroyed the country, im not racist in anyway, but basically the land was handed over to black zimbabweans who havent got a clue about farming/land management.

How can you argue that Hitler loved his people, when (as already mentioned) he slaughtered anyone who didn't fit in to his blonde hair, blue eyes Hitler youth?
