Anybody watching the first episode of this tonight on sky Atlantic?

The ads make it look really good but I'm not really sure what it's about? It looks like a gangster series set in maybe the 1930's? I have no idea but it looks good!

Hands down Its a great series and i recommend anyone to watch. At the moment this, breaking bad and dexter are the best shows to watch.

It is 1920's mafia in Atlantic City.

The pilot alone cost $18 million and was directed by Scoursese.

Cant bloody wait!

Oh it also has one of the main script writers from the Sopranos doing it, i think it will be very good. It is HBO, you never get dreadful material from them.

This is going to clash with the football I just realised but I recon I should be able to get it on demand from Sky player.

And wow £18 million for a pilot! Impressive stuff.

Its on later tonight again, at midnight or something, so you could sky plus it then to watch later

What can one say, very enjoyable. Everything about it, the characters, sets, clothes, the filming was faultless. I can’t wait to see the next episode tomorrow night.

as soon as I saw the word Mafia and the name Scoursese, along with the name Steve Buscemi. I knew I had to see it. I'll let you know what I think

Got first episode of this and Blue Bloods recorded. Hope they are as good as they sound as since Lost finished, I haven't found anything worth watching.

I think this will be very good to watch.

I have an interest in La Cosa Nostra and the Bruno family Philadelphia had a large part in setting Atlantic City away.

I haven't seen the show but I would be interested to see if there is any factual basis to it.
