Haha yep, been trying to get Messi but no matter what I can't get him. Wasn't going to buy anyone this season but thought I'd see how much Ronaldo would be... £118m and all he wanted was £200k a week with £100k an appearance so thought what the heck. :D

Got so many good regens out on loan I won't have to get anyone in for the next 2-3 seasons now. Got Dzeko in on a free from Wolfsburg though as he had 6 months remaining last Jan so signed him in for this season and sold Macheda to Bayern for £14m.

29 in my current 2014-2015 season.

I would buy Messi right now... got a £150m transfer budget this season?! :eek: New owners must really like me!

Promoted Newcastle in first season, struggled in 2nd season and doing okay in 3rd, maybe qualify for euro cup.

Best buy was a 24 year old spaniard AMC who scores for fun, playing one up front (quality SC on paper but not on the pitch). Alfaro, I believe the AMC is called, still no spanish cap(though there is loads of competition I suppose :) ) and he is still only valued at 3.9mill!

Surviving on free transfers as Mike Ashley is tight, which is realistic, a geordies bought the club and he is worse!

Just need a high quality striker for next season, I have my eye on Vaughn from Everton :)

Alfaro, at Sevilla in season 1. Great flair and off the ball, so hard to mark I guess. But I just play him as Attacking AMC with no major alterations to his instructions.

Dark haired white guy

Good finishing, average long shots and composure, generally noting outstanding though, stat wise. I just had a gut feeling about him and got lucky I guess :)

He has had 1 game where he got 5.83, and maybe 2 6's. The rest are above 7, and rarely below 7.4 even though the rest of my team get 6s or 5s if we get beat, he doesn't. Wish he had high influence and workrate, he'd be an excellent captain!

EDIT:

For any struggling teams where either their native language is English or their secondary language is English (Sweden, Germany etc.) Alfaro learns English very quickly, which helps with moral mainly.

Just remembered I'm the Ivory Coast manager too, all the decent players are mostly over 28/29, but want to do well in World Cup 2014 then maybe leave. I need to qualify for it first though! Just won my first match away 3-2, Drogba played with a slight injury and still scored! Had to have him on the pitch to influence the team mainly though, with or without an injury.

"Do it for the fans" and "No pressure" for player with very low morale(he has this because he hasn't even learnt basic English after 2years, he is a class player playing him not in his best position either. He is free at season one I believe. My WBR that is, best position MR but I am short of WBR's and loaded with AMR's, which to me seem to be the easiest to buy cheap for high quality ones. I'm playing Ben Arfa there, I got on free this season)

Arsenal are clearly top of the league, I am mid table but have no major injuries now. I still might catch up for a Euro place hopefully :) (I'm out of the cups).

Some canny players there, amazing GK and useful DMC, C Adams is slightly underrated but still useful.

Ryan Taylor is generally rubbish most of the time on the right but is lethal in a lot of games with his set pieces, and scores some ordinary and extra ordinary goals from a weak position for him AML, hell of a right foot on him so I have him set to cut inside so he wallops the ball with his right foot.

Galaxy (with Calender enabled, team coloured footer)

Souk can develop into a bit of a useful player as he is a decent striker/finisher his pace is great for counter attacks and he's really useful as AMR cutting inside.

Like I said I need a really quality striker then I will rule the universe!

EDIT: The striker I thought would be my star striker, therefore I actually managed to get some cash to buy was/is Caicedo from Man City, he started off decent but has fired blanks all this season and towards the end of last season. Loads of interest in him and he's valued at 4.1mill so want to try and get at least 6million to finance a deal to bring a quality striker in for next season, hopefully he'll be quality, I mean I have great scouts that rate Caicedo very highly but he doesn't produce the goods, misses sitters all the time.

Caicedo doesn't even make the bench as you can see, actually he has just said he is unhappy in my game, excellent.

BTW If anyone wants the MEGA pack that includes photos, badges,leagues art, some skins etc. trust me and I'll email you the torrent file. It saves either paying sortitoutsi(or whatever it's called) to download the complete file, or not paying and downloading it in 11 or something different segments which is a pain.

As far as I know this is purely legal btw.

I could do with the megapack because i lost my newcastle save which i had on another pc but recently built a new pc and was waiting for patch 11.3 before starting a new game .
 
Just finished my first season as Arsenal, won the treble but out in the CC, think it was my only defeat all season apart from a CL group stage game somewhere.

Oddly though didn't have anyone scoring loads of goals, Arsh / RVP / Walcott all chipped in but no one went big. Gonna have a change of tactics this season and see what happens, hopefully buy one of the awesome CBs and a DMF, despite Song being (for some unknown reason) extremely good on this game, it just feels so wrong.

At a guess in the next week or so (hopefully)...

Though it will give wednesday Madine which will make L1 more interesting... :p

FMbase has said they are chasing some sort of random crash issue and predict next week (starting the 8th march) to be patch week, early in the week too. This is pretty good as the random crash from some sort of memory corruption sounds very like what happened to my Burton save if I left it live too long so im not complaining that it'll be fixed :)
