Just a random thread really, am interested to see what everyone has or keeps in thier current account.

Like what you would class as a minimum safe balance?

I'm in the 0-150 band at the moment but would like to be around 300-500 in the next few months.

Bandings are a bit narrow aren't they? I imagine there are going to be a few posters with more than £750 in their accounts.

£0-150 here, I sweep everything I get straight out apart from what I need for day-to-day miscellaneous expenses.

My account has about a grand in at at the mo but i've not paid off the CC yet. As soon as I do that anything left gets put into the savings acct and my current acct sits at exactly £0.

Everyone I know talks about money and mortages and bills and stuff freely, its not like I'm telling you I have a micro penis and my 3rd nipple itches in the moonlight.

I would imagine most on here will have 1500+ so it doesnt really tell you much.

(if you are talking actual amount in the bank rather than how much you put in each month)

I would consider £1500+ to be the minimum safe balance that I would be comfortable with.

I would be concerned if it got anywhere near that figure tbh.

Are you asking for what my actual balance is as well?
