No "Private" Profiles on Google +

I signed up and haven't used my full name, I haven't put my gender in so it has nothing to show. In fact you can have an account without fililng in any of the profile information.

You can see my picture but that can be easily changed.

Meh. Drama for the sake of it, I'm sure this 'story' is getting Engadget lots of hits.

Huge over reaction to this imo. Nothing wrong with Name/Sex being shown, I can't imagine they will enforce people to show the picture but if you're bothered about people seeing your face don't have a pic of yourself.

Why worry, plenty to be found out about people online, just from their forum names, like the OP's.

Its not an issue, because you can entirely avoid the apparent problem but not having a Google+ account. Its not like anyones holding a gun to you head and forcing you to put your information on there.

so it looks like everybody must be able to see your name and sex, possibly picture after July 30th with google plus. How Rude.
