I don't think you'll notice much. There might be an increase in the number of CCTV cameras. Like London. It's CCTV network was originally installed to thwart IRA attacks. As such you can follow a car entering from one side of the city and out the other just by CCTV (20 miles or more) regardless of the route they decide to take. And as the attacks against London where pretty low, there was no need to install the kind of infrastructure against bomb attacks that you might have seen at the height of the troubles in Belfast, including no vehicle zones round government buildings, check points into the city centre and the barriers that were closed over so vehicles couldn't enter the city. I remember Belfast in the late 80s and early 90s going shopping with my mum and having to go through the check points into the city centre, there was pat down searches and ID checks.

Now there is a shooting at this small island close to Oslo where the prime minister and his political party are having a big meeting. People are swimming away from it and there's full panic. Two people have been shot.

It's very slow at the moment as the other main newspaper is in the street where it happened and is not updating their site.
On days like this it is difficult not to swing to the right. I do pray this doesn't get any worse.

Too early to say yet as there will be a lot of chaos following the blast.
If it was a large bomb there should be a crater of some kind.

That doesn't always happen, if the ground is rather hard there will be no crater.
Difference being that the IRA would spend months or years on a farm no questions asked building up what they needed for their bombs. Islamic groups don't have that sort of access in the west.

Last time I looked Christians are trying to help people and not going back to stone age thinking and killing people because they dont believe in their book.
Scary thing is these are homegrown terrorist, living in western countries, many of them living off the state and then attacking the country they grow up in.
