Logitech been ripped off - to grass or not?

wow thats sneeky, i knew logitech had good CS but wasnt aware they would just ship you any old item without a seriel or anything!
Stupid of them really..

What is telling though is how a good company policy has created the fierce brand loyalty shown here.

I'm not usually one to get involved in stuff like this but yeah I would definitely report it to Logitech, it's fraud on a significant enough scale.

You shouldn't have given him a heads up though. They could have conducted some research and gained evidence by buying from him.

The problem is that if this person works for logitech and you contact them, you may end up grassing him into himself, if you get what I mean

Of course you need a serial, but he is buying an item, claiming it's faulty and using the address of whoever bought it. They get the replacement and he can sell the original, effectively selling each item twice.

Report him to eBay, Logitech and even the police. It is fraud after all.

Good, I hope this is going to include a report to the police as well if Logitech confirm that this guy is doing what you suspect.

My only concern is, he looks a bit of a thug, as expected, and unfortunately due to my transaction with him, he has my name, address, and phone number. Whilst he may be 400 miles away, he's gonna be pretty ****ed i've grassed him in when he gets caught.

Ah well, we'll see what happens lol

Yep, you were silly to email him telling him how you felt. I would have just grassed him in anonymously. Oh well.
