Do you think this build is perfect or do you think it's slight overkill for me as I'll only be playing runescape/surfing web/ downloading torrents. I want it to do all that and be futureproof at same time.

Also does anyone know if the PSU comes with all the cables I'd need to use ?

Looks ok and is all compatible etc.

But you say this,
I want it to do all that and be futureproof at same time.

I dont know what other cpus are due for this unique socket type, but you can add a discrete GPU (6670 etc) and crossfire with the built in graphics to get a good performance increase.

My nans 7 year old low end dell can run runescape... just sayin.

I was under the impression that they now had a HD version with AA and the like, not sure if a 7 year old low end machine could run that from inside a browser tbh.

The pc the OP has speced however should be more than adequate

Ahhh runescape...those were the days...

^ non mems get HD too just that they cant go full screen

edit: How about getting a mouse like the g500, you can assign camera controls to it as well as quick shortcuts like inventory access. I remember it being a massive help to me

I'm an active player and member of RuneScape. HD graphics are nice on my system (specs in my sig).

Full screen is great too. That game as come so far.

What's it like these days? I used to stop and start every now and then (Usually Christmas time when I had nothing to do or play) but then stopped when the only friend I have who played it quit :(.
