AMD 7000 Series in September?

It told me absolutely!

I have a real mystic ball that you shake and it gives you an answer, but I cant remember where I put it now, it was just a funny student toy from the gadget shop.
 
The last update in that story says 2012.

Recently Donanimhaber conducted an interview with Powercolor’s Director of Sales, Elaine Liao, who said HD 7000 series can be expected only in Q1 2012, and also it’s going to be manufactured in 40nm process.

Ball told me yes! So majority of answers is yes at the moment :p.

Wasn't their rumours of the low-mid end of the 7000 series coming out this Autumn, with the higher end possibly coming out in early 2012?

Well they did that with the 6800 series and the 6900 series came later so that would actually make a lot of sense!

Everywhere it's been listed as 28nm however so I think that is for certain. If they remained 40nm I doubt you'd see any performance improvement at all as they don't want the chips to end up massive power hungry monsters.
