I ordered a standard one a year or so ago.

I had a little test of mine.

They can get a little jerky if there's hedges or trees on the side of the road.
Can't really grumble for the price though.

Is that a HD #11? Doesn't look too good and has no 720p mode.

That's definitely not the #11. See this site for a wealth of information about the different versions.

I have one of the older versions, but am very tempted by the #11. The thing that always bugged me about mine was the 4:3 aspect ratio and narrow viewing angle, but the #11 seems to have solved that.

Does anyone have one of these setup with an in car charger?

Are the terrible compression artefacts and dropped frames part and parcel of this "amazing quality", or have they been introduced by YouTube?

The dropped frames are on the original video's but youtube has reduced the quality a fair bit.
