****The Official iPhone 4S Accessories Thread****

No offence but I'm really not a fan of hiding the iPhone away. It looks amazing so wrapping it up in some ugly cheap plastic does not float my boat.

Think I'll just keep it naked like my 3GS.

I totally agree!
Although I will be putting on an invisible shield on the back just to protect it from scratches. One of the reasons why i chose white so it would hide scratches!

I've decided to go nude, in a nice pouch for when it goes in my pocket. If I scratch the back up over the course of a year from placing it on desks etc... well, I can always buy a replacement glass back that looks identical.

And yeah, black dock that isn't plasticy looking?

I've ordered the same screen protectors and am pondering whether to get the black or clear version of the Vulcan for the black 4S.

The clear one is quite glossy, not sure if the black one is too.

I think I must be the fussiest case buyer ever. I don't like any of them.

Leaning toward a sleeve instead, just worried about not hearing it ring if its stuffed into something.

Hehe, there's always something I don't like about a case too. Unfortunately a sleeve won't protect it while you're actually using it. Every time I've dropped my iPhone 3G it's come out of my hands, not my pocket.

I would probably go for the smokey as I read that the clear one may go yellow over time.

Didn't realise it was part-clear. Found a youtube vid for it and it looks good on the black phone, albeit still a fair bit glossy.

I can understand having a case, but a screen protector?

Every one I've ever seen just ruins the look of the screen.

Can you get cases designed with pictures on

I want one with this on

(stolen from a guys sig on here)

You could choose something like Tuch, not saying that particular sleeve, but that style, ringing shouldn't be a problem then:

Suppose this could technically be classed as an 'accessory'... ;)

Can someone give me a brief summary of what Apple Care is, what it gives me and whether it's worth it?

With apple care it's interesting to note that US Apple Care covers accidental damage, whereas I can't find it mentioned anywhere in UK version, which makes UK £61 version a cover purely for hardware breakdown (quite unlikely), battery depletion (conditions apply) and "I am lost in how to open calculator from a menu after two years of owning this phone, can I call a number for help" trolling.
