****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

I'm not sure where Intratech has posted the KI3 which includes CF-Root so I'd just flash the one he linked then flash CF-Root if I were you (unless he posts while I type this :p).

Nah, no need to debrand before updating :).

Don't worry about XX/XW, just flash the one Intratech linked, it's XXKI3 PDA+Modem with XEU (generic Europe I think) CSC :).

ok, just want to make sure before I flash it, here are the list of files in the .tar
boot.bin
cache.img
factoryfs.img
hidden.img
modem.bin
param.lfs
sbl.bin
zimage

Now, do I put the .tar file in PDA in odin, or should the boot.bin go in bootloader and the modem go in phone etc?

STOP! Collaborate and listen:

Do not extract the contents of the tarball. Once you extract the content of the 7zip archive you should have a single file that you put in the PDA section of Odin and flash. That is all... simples.

Received my 32GB Sandisk memory card from ****.com (rhymes with gay) and just transferring everything over to it now. It is taking an absolute age, transferring at a measly 4.3 MB/sec, that can't be right.

Sounds fine if it's a class 4 card :)

Yeah it's a class 4, I'm also not a very patient person. :P

I did test out a PS1 game which was running off the memory card to see if there were any slowdowns but it was fine, I suppose I can live with the slow transfer speeds.

I've just installed LeoMar's 7.1 ROM based on 2.3.5 and so far so good, Dive pack actually works with Dive unlike GingerMod's Dive "Pack" and the ROM is pretty slick and lightweight. The kitchen app is brilliant as well.

Battery monitoring of extended battery is a go!

How do i install the kitchen app mate because i have downloaded it from xda but it is a apk file?

Got my S2 today and been playing all day. Loving it, best phone I have ever had without a doubt.

One thing though. Is there any way of streaming videos from my PC to the S2?

I have loads of avi's and mkv's. Is there an app that makes this possible? There's one I use on the ipad, but I cant seem to find an android app.

Cheers.
