Yep, on Rush the attackers start on the cliffside and they have to basejump to the bottom. It sounds amazing.

I hope the pushing friendlies remains in, the row of snipers at the edge of that are going down like dominos \o/

Haha you evil man. That was so annoying sometimes, I'd be laying down with an MG to support guys moving down a hall... and my team mates would push me into the middle of the hall ruining my cover :mad:

I missed the beta of this, what is the gameplay like? I liked BF2 although I played it a lot more with the Project Reality mod, is BF3 more team\strategy biased? I'm pretty disillusioned with MP online nowadays, it's all pretty much death match. I'm not to fussed about all the leveling up rubbish either, although that's mainly because I have so little time to devote to gaming!

If im honest, i prefer the rush mode to conquest, just like the good old days of attacking the titan in bf2142.

BF3 feels like BC2 IMO, just feels more fluid like when you move about compared to BC2, graphics are nicer of course and you die easier compared to BC2, but apart from those, it's the same.

If you want team work, then you'll have to squad up with mates with mics.

That was nothing like Rush, that's more Conquest imo.

Depends on the map and server size to be honest. The best thing about conquest is that individual roles are dynamically developed throughout the match. For example, you can designate yourself as the 'jeep taxi driver' for a bit then turn into the 'assault medic support', then the ' helicopter pilot'.

Is the squad leader concept still there? How are the base weapons etc. are they still viable or do you get wiped with players with more unlocks?

I would be interested in getting it from here if it means we would get it on the 25th instead of the 28th but do you think Origin would let us download the game 3 days early?

Only time will tell. I reckon origin might have a region limit on it so only folk in the usa can play it, like what steam do.

On the other hand, It does say it's region free on that site though. :confused:
