I think we can all agree that so far the caspian border, operation firestorm and kharg island are representing the actual BF experience.

Noshahr canals and Tehran Highway are good maps aswell but feel linear.

True and this makes the game less appealing even though it has a lot of potential. I am only concentrating on CB, OF,KI and one or two other maps.

I've had some really good close and fun games on the TFU server until those hackers came on last night

Operation Firestorm is the best map by far. I do feel that quite a few of the maps like Operation Metro and Damavand Peak are a little to compact especially for 64p conquest. However I am not really concerned about the maps atm as we know we are going to get 4 amazing maps in a few months time.

Oh and looking at the tank unlocks last night the last unlock looks pretty good. Basically you can get into a tank as 3rd member and act as commander using a laser designator and proximity scanner

bf never was a shooter.
its teamwork.
played mw and cod and its simply mindless boring gaming.

I played 14 hours straight last night in the bf3, and had more fun that I had for a long time in a game. not bad for a oldie at 47..

The essence of this game can only be realised when people start playing as a team, go for objectives, use strategies to tackle enemy positions rather than go gun blazing in the open for the sake of it.

Sorry I am at work till 2pm but I do know that off the top of my head it was a September released bios. I will post the bios version when I get home.
I can appreciate how frustrating this is when all you want to do is play.

Someone earlier in this thread asked "how do I flash my card?" for my Gigabyte 560ti OC all I did was went to the gigabyte website. Put in my gfx details then downloaded the September bios, screeched it to desktop then clicked the .exe file and sat back till finished. (about a minute)
Hope this helps others out as I was so close to RMA.

Before the end of the year I believe, I think it's also exclusive to PS3 for 2 weeks? So I'm guessing late November then PC players get it Mid December, that is a totally rough guess btw!

Hah! Good old EA/Dice.

Let's go old school for those die hard PC gamers who have been with us since the days of 1942 and re-make their favourite BF2 map for BF3!!!

Also...let's show them our gratitude for years of loyalty and multiple title releases by giving that map to the PS3 owners, who probably won't even understand what they get treated too.

Got a triple kill last night when MRK and I were squad tanking together. Shot down a transport chopper...so good!!
