Hmm not that me and my friends need a server but it's always good to chuck another in the mix :) Between 5/6 of us that is really a couple of pints at £8.00 or so each a month.

Are you guys splitting the server cost between yourselves? There was a thread about this somewhere, I am sure I saw one.

I have had some experience with MPUK servers in the past, I always found the NL based servers where better then the UK servers. Is the TFU London based or NL?

Splitting it with your mates is the best way to go about it, doesn't make it half was bad as if you were paying for it on your own.

With the 20 or so of us in Bronken, we managed to get it down to around £8 every 3 months for each of us, which is nothing really!

That certainly used to be the case I'd agree, but the Multiplay servers have come on leaps and bounds over the last year or so, lots of heavy investment at new kit and it really does show.

Multiplay were also one of, if not the, biggest server host for the beta, so they've managed to streamline and optimise their servers better than any other host I've been on so far for BF3.

Yep that is nothing :)

I'll mention it to some of my mates, always good to chuck another in the mix. Even if it's only me and LiE on these forums ;)
 
Just got on this morning awesome noob question has anyone changed the keyboard settings I want to use the directional keys to go forward, back etc instead of w.s thanks

Should be able to change that in the options. It's only the mouse buttons that people are having issues rebinding (unless they have SetPoint)

To be perfectly honest with you, 9 times out of 10 I die in the jet because I've timed something wrong. If you can get up into the air when they're flying pass you, or at the other end of the map and you can get to them easily, then you're on to a winner. If you can get behind them, it should be game over for them.

It also helps to have someone to use the mobile AA that actually has a clue how to use the damn thing! If someone's on your six, just do a couple of passes by your AA on the ground and he should rip that jet to shreds ;)

I did reckon that enemy jets would have had hard time shooting me down if they didn't have jet unlocks and just relied on cannon gun as in my case using joystick pad has given me greater flexibiliy for maneuverability and makes the jet much more agile.

I did get shot down by mobile AA aswell even though I tried going straight for the height ceiling to try to escape the lock range.

However you do get points though for spending time in jet even if you haven't made any kill?

Btw how many points are required for flare unlock?
 
GRR can't wait for this any longer, come on OCUK!

When is the first shipment of dispatches getting out of the warehouse today? Sucks that I'm not home so I can't pick it up.
