Sweet! My mate just had his BF3 order delivered to his desk at work, i just told him to go home and install now. lol :D

Mate I had this, it's a right pain. It gets itself in an endless loop of downloading and wont install.

What worked for me is rename the Battlefield 3 folder in Origin Games then close down Origin completely. Re-boot Origin and let it start downloading then shut it down again. Browse the old Battlefield 3 folder, copy the contents and paste into the newly created Battlefield 3 folder.

When you re-boot Origin it will be at 99.95% or something and you'll have to re-install. This means doing the proxy trick again.

But i cant find any games in the origin folder..... Dont know whats happened, why oh why did i update!!!

Not really, I usually have to lay down and/or use the bipod to get low recoil. Try running and gunning with the PKP and that scope and see what you think, I know I really have to fight the recoil!

See here at 1:50ish, you can see it jumps around but I'm fighting it pretty hard to keep it steady. When I stop firing you can see how much the gun drops back down without me moving the mouse :)

just woke up to - to a server update for BF3

DICE have released server update R5 with the following changes:

- Crash fixes

- Latest PunkBuster DLLs included (in case the server doesn't auto-update)

- Security updates

- Fixed some problems with client<->server handshake, which would make players get kicked from the server halfway through loading
