I did reckon that enemy jets would have had hard time shooting me down if they didn't have jet unlocks and just relied on cannon gun as in my case using joystick pad has given me greater flexibiliy for maneuverability and makes the jet much more agile.
I did get shot down by mobile AA aswell even though I tried going straight for the height ceiling to try to escape the lock range.
However you do get points though for spending time in jet even if you haven't made any kill?
Btw how many points are required for flare unlock?
You won't get points simply for spending time in it, you actually have to gain points. Unloading your guns into jets is generally the quickest way if your aim is good enough, they really upped the damage they do with the main guns now so the jets go down quite easily.
If you get a spare time when enemy jets aren't in the air, line up a good long strafe on a tank. With the higher damage it now does, you should be able to disable a tank fairly quickly which is a good 100 points. If you stick on it that's another 100 for the kill and 50 for the asset destroy. A couple of those and you'll start getting the unlocks in no time.
Shame they couldn't do a game update that allows you to properly unbind keys.
Commo Rose as Q is really annoying the hell out of me!
this is what is annoying me, is that it saids press Q for ammo i press it but it there is no selection for need ammo or am i missing something.
Because it doesn't work like that.
Q is used in two ways. You press it once for things like spotting an enemy, and looking at a medic and then pressing it to ask for health, the same for support/ammo; and you hold it to access the Commo Rose.

mine has OFFICIALLY just unlocked for me, woke up turned on pc and my mate screamed at me "is yours unlocked now?" so i tried and it passed the date checker on origin, no VPN no proxy.

So it would seem 11.10 Preview 3 and Cap4 unofficial work pretty well...

I am having this issue to with my Asus 560 ti uc II, will try upping the voltage tonight and see if that does the trick. Have you had any luck trying to sort it? I mainly have this issue on Caspian Border and the canal map.
Can't say I'm too happy about everyone having tons of hours on their players compared to me, Still waiting for Amazon to dispatch
I have a feeling I'm going to get absolutely pwned by everyone with their chuffing unlocks....
It won't be too bad weapon wise as most of the higher weapons aren't all that anyway, but the vehicle and gadget unlocks give them a bit of an advantage.
Still finding it impossible to change my keys to directional keys, when I go to options/keyboard and W for forward I press on the key I want to use (in this case up directional key}nothing changes. I know I'm doing something stupid here.Thanks

Thats a bit extreme lol! Surely just disable the one for now until a fix from either ATI/AMD or Dice, then re-enable once fixed for even smoother play
