Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Got my copy today, installed it but it's impossible to play multiplayer for me. Cannot see any ping indication on any servers. Trying the UK ones, got in a few times, badly lagging and disconnected after a few minutes. Beta was reasonably OK for me, also got disconnected but at least I could usually get a few games in then. Any ideas?
 
Bah I caved in guys. I had originally pre-ordered from Amazon but I woke up this morning and the game still hadn't dispatched. I have the day off work (although I am kind of working from home instead) and really fancied playing today as I will be away for the weekend. I saw all this talk of GMG so thought I would give them a go. Was a painless process so far - ordered for less than Amazon + First Class delivery and am downloading on Origin now. Also get the Physical Warfare pack which I prefer to the Amazon Specact kits (don't like the look of those uniforms much). God bless Amazon's very efficient cancellation process. It was marked as 'Preparing for delivery' and it still cancelled no problems. ;)

Is anyone actually using the commo-rose..?

I know so many people moaned and demanded it (Raven, looking at you here!) but is anyone actually using it?

I myself, not at all.

I find it.... crap. Q is more than sufficient.


Raven if you're reading this, I need to know, after all that whining, are you using your much sought after feature?

I'm guessing not :)

clear the keys first by holding down escape, then save, open again and rebind to what you want.

Had a few problems with joystick air controls overriding infantry controls, so I've been randomly firing if the air control thrust is left on and then been jumping out of the plane at random stages due to the controls messing up.

They need to sort out the controls for joystick and mouse negative accel/raw input.

Glad someone has posted this. I'm trying to find a solution myself. In caspian border, I get black triangles pretty much everywhere, I haven't really tried other maps. I'll try and capture a screenshot. I have a Gigabyte 560Ti @ 1Ghz (Factory overclocked). I haven't experienced this in any other games so far, its really annoying - found myself playing BFBC2 last night, instead of BF3 :(

I find that it isn't very responsive, the BF2 one was much better.
 
I ordered Xbox and PC version from Game. The PC version has turned up but not the Xbox, despite having an email saying the Xbox was posted Tuesday and the PC version last night at 9pm lol ?!
