Hi this has probably been covered already but played a couple of games and in each of them after five minutes the screen freezes. any ideas

Let me get this straight:

They have emailed you the game code already and you are downloading the game now? And able to play when it's downloaded?

While I was trying to re-map my joystick to this game, I got kicked out from server.

It happened several times.

Did any of you experience similar situation?

Also can re-mapping be only done while in-game? No alternative?

OK, we've set ours to run with only 2 players in so we can practice flying driving.

Haha indeed. Well I'm currently using a Samsung S27A850D with 2560 x 1440 resolution. I somehow don't think my single 6950 is going to like this at native res.

I might see if I can borrow a 6990 from a friend for a bit.

Yes. They give you the code straight away after you buy (I paid using PayPal). They also give you an order confirmation with the code via email. You can redeem this code on Origin directly and it all works. Unlocks BF3 Limited Edition with the Physical Warfare Pack and Back to Karkand. I assume I will be able to play it when it has downloaded as apparently EA are allowing activation early due to all of the VPN users.

I have a 6850 and same thing for me. Was running it on Ultra fine but then on some maps it stutters randomly. Game freezes for a 2nd or so, really annoying! Hopefully ATI will release drivers soon. Apparently theres CAP drivers available that fix the stuttering, not sure what cap means? Beta drivers?

CAP are crossfire profiles for games, no use to single card owners

I get this sometimes. Click on the cancel button near where it says initialising. Then press ctrl, alt and delete. Go into task manager, then go to processes. Look for the BF3 process and end it.

Ace thanks. Having a problem with GMG sadly, not sure what went wrong at payment stage. Trying to fix it though

how are you guys on ATI getting afterburner to show an OSD and Vram usage? i have version 2.1.0 and i can't get it to work
