iPhone 4S or Nokia Links 800

Well today I decided to buy the iPhone 4S 32GB.

I really want to go over the WP7, but currently the 4S has the hardware and the great games that have been and going to be made.

Maybe, after my iPhone contract ends Nokia and Microsoft would have made a handset which makes me take the leap but at the moment, the Apps arn't there.

Grats and enjoy your new phone dude :D.

As an standard smartphone, I think I could manage with the Lumia just as well as an iPhone 4S, but for me, what makes me decide one over the other are the range of apps. I have spent quite a bit of money on apps already, mostly 69p games!

I'd have to agree, I have both and I tried using the Lumia as my personal phone and even though its lush the app store just isn't as good. Its not as bad as android but its not as good as apple.

Lumia is now the work phone :)

Good choice, if in doubt, get an iPhone.

Not as bad as android? Surely the android app store is better than the windows one lol.

not in my opinion no, the android one is absolutely full to the rafters with crappy free apps, you've got to try half a dozen before you find what you want, most are heavily ad supported and do god knows what to your phone in the background.

I have had an android phone (HTC HERO) and it was good phone for playing around with as you could change a lot of the layout, root it etc.
My Mrs' has a Windows phone (HTC one) and i just cannot get the feel of the layout.

I have had an iPhone3g and iPhone4, i had the iPhone 4 for a bout a week before selling it (got it on contract and needed the £400 i sold the phone for) it was a really great phone although it did seem a little heavy.
I have kept my iPhone 3g and think its great, the apps and itunes makes everything straight forward. Just means less messing about and things are more automated. I work many hours and to be honest don't feel like messing about with phones when i get in.
