Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Battlefield 3 was great fun but lately it's just been annoying me and i've gone back to skyrim. One hit kills, RPG's that vanish into thin air if you die and the maps are boring as it seems servers want to keep looping the same ones over and over again sometimes the same one twice

The biggest thing has to be the maps. I like the attention to detail in the existing ones but there just aren't any which really stand out like in BF2 and BF2142, partly due to the console flag spacing but also the real lack of variety on conquest maps (e.g. kubra dam or dragon valley style, where there is real variety in the situation of flag points).

It doesnt mean "atpbx is the only one stupid enough to get forward enough to blow up the MCOMS".

Hmmm think dice have made a mess of this patch. Lots reporting black screen issues on official forums and my game won't get past joining server atm

BF3 is harder than the other BF games, when it comes to gaining points against the sad gits who haven't slept since launch day and are now at level 40 when i'm still level 7.
Seriously how can they level up so fast? Are there servers that offer x2 points or something?
I think i've played for 9 hours now and am level 7. Is that about right do you think?

I think i've played for 9 hours now and am level 7. Is that about right do you think?

That's not bad, but it certainly isn't that fast. It's a points and team game, if your getting a low SPM (score per minute) you'll level up slower then others.

You need to capture bases, defend them, assist others, spot, suppress and plenty more to get up in the top.

why haven't they dealt with INRV. laser sights and flash lights?

i am using RDS and know that most deaths i should not be able to be seen but INRV lights me up like a Christmas tree....

Co-op seems to be working fine. But cannot connect to any multiplayer servers since the patch.

EDIT - I think i found the solution. I had to reset my filter, now it finds and connects to games.

One that you can use and handle? There is no best.

I love the A-91, it's got like 700-800 kills for me, while other weapons are 300 or below.

For PC, you are now able to highlight the various Squads and select which one you wish to join by selecting a Squad and then clicking the Join Squad button.

I could already do this?? I do it all the time when I end up in some idiot squad who just drive around in circles at the spawn or snipe ineffectively the whole game.
