Smithing improving armour eh? cant say ive seen anything of the sort yet, but then again ive not looked , Legendary skyforge sword with fire enchant is just overkill for most things i cant imagine what a Deadric sword would do.
 
I got the ' looking for a bride' amulet of mara from the temple at Riften, the mercenary girl Janessa that's accompanied me for days said she would like to marry me even though we are different species.

So we went to the temple & the priest married us & handed two rings, I turned round & she'd gone! :confused:

Maybe because I haven't got a house yet? I already put my name down on Riften Council housing waiting list:p
 
To be fair. Whilst I have 100 Smithing, I'm more than happy to have full dragon armour with legendary perks with just the 100 smithing. Works quite nicely as it is, and hasn't caused me too many issues. The game is still a challenge to play which is nice. Still need to add enchantments to it, but yeah it is nice :) Might have to upgrade it so it's better than the master thieves guild armour though xD

The two other guys in the Companions want to be cured eventually, but Aela won't. Just keep doing extra work for the two males and eventually you'll get a "personal matter" quest called Purity.

Leather Bracers and Iron Daggers. Spam make those :)

Buy iron ingots and leather strips from the forges in each city and make into iron daggers. Also change your stone to the warrior for +20% levelling and +10% from being well rested. It will level up in no time at all.

Thats what i was doing, but i was doing a lot of jewelry, as it has a highish return in gold, as that was my main aim was gaining gold not really hitting 100BS, but its a welcome addition in any case.
 
Where is the best place for mats for the Deadric set? I am wearing dragon armour and Ebony 2H, and havent come across any Daedra yet.

Quest wise i havent done any college quests yet and have only just started the thieves guild ones.

I've got some weird performance issues - just switched graphics card from an xfx gtx260 black edition, to a gigabyte gtx560ti oc.

The 260 was running everything ultra at 1680x1050 (aa and af turned down to x2 and x4), with the land and tree shadow tweaks, and getting a consistent framerate - anywhere between 35 and 55, but never experienced any freak drops. Driver was 270.16 IIRC.

Now witht the 560 I get a solid 60fps, but then some freakish drops below 30, especially in towns/looking towards towns (driver is updated to latest).
Entering Whiterun and its 24fps! :eek:

I understand that it's normal for these fps drops. What I don't get is why with a gtx260 there were hardly any extreme drops (but never really hit 60fps either), but with a 560 it swings wildly from solid 60 and then suddelnly down to 30?

In related Skyrim news, one gamer located in Finland has discovered that the entire virtual world of Tamriel includes the landmasses from Morrowind and Oblivion. They were discovered after the player discovered a closed path at the archway of Stendarr's Beacon, the closest point to Morrowind. Curious, he used the noclip command to move past the invisible wall. The trail continued on for a bit until it thinned out with scaled down textures.

"Bethesda has made the landmass for Morrowind," he writes in a blog. "The entirety of Morrowind. Solstheim is there, the mainland is there, Vvardenfell is there. It’s all there. It’s scaled down slightly however, since the scaling in Morrowind, Skyrim, And Oblivion are all obscured towards each other. But it’s still very large."

wait wait WAIT ! what is this +10% from being well rested :confused: Do you get that if you sleep in a bed for X amount of hours ? how do you know if you have this buff ?

Yeah did that when changing from 270.xx to the latest non-beta driver.
Maybe this is just unlucky coinciding with the small patch?

I'm wondering if it's worth trying an older driver. Maybe just the recent ones have issues.
