Hey Motoring people!

T'other month I was on my way up to the football (M1 North) and a car drove past with a plate that read "CU BYE" on it, was a black Lamborghini drove past.

Wondering now (As I fell asleep early and woke up silly early and can't get back to sleep) is there any way of finding out who owns it?

T'was a very nice car.

Thanks in advance.

If you have a good enough reason to find it out you can ask the DVLA.

Although their definition of a good reason sometimes seems rather open, it doesn't seem to include "I saw a car with a cool plate"

and of course you'd have to figure out what plate it really was as CU BYE isn't valid, possibly C11 BYE with some dodgy placement?

I did point this out at the time that the plate didn't look legal, but I'm sure that's what it said.

It might well of been an 8 as opposed to a B, but ah well if "I saw a car with a cool plate" doesn't cut it with the DVLA I'm at a loss :p

It doesn't bother me, I can see a car drive past and I couldn't care less who was driving it, ie not bothered in the slightest.
