dodgy neighbours preparing for crime..

Has no one seen lock stock? Lie in wait for them coming home, with some antique shotguns. Nothing could possibly go wrong!

What about the people that may have their property stolen from them, or maybe even injured because of whatever they're getting up to?

Come on mate why aren't you reporting this? Somebody else is no doubt losing out to these scum. How hard is it to let the police know? It would make the thread more interesting too.

Perhaps its theft this time and burglary the next?

Oh not this type of "logic" again.

While I acknowledge that it is a possibility, just because some one has stolen something doesn't mean they go on to do worse and worse things.

well i think if it was anyone else i would, but i know they are broke and being hounded by debt collectors, just had a new born and also taken in a 15 lad who's mum did not want anymore :(

so im gonna let it slide, DOES NOT MAKE IT RIGHT, but each to their own.
Well that's just lovely!

OP fails

1. Just because they have a new born doesn't give them the right to commit crimes, even petty ones such as petrol theft.

2. Crime is Crime, its up to the courts to decide if it merits punishment

3. If they burgled you would you still not report them because they had a newborn ?

Shop them. They're the sort responsible for retailers pushing their prices up.

You think they're just getting fuel, but what if they are committing some more violent crimes and you missed a chance to prevent it all?
