GPU clock @ 1050mhz
Memory clock @ 1575mhz

P score = 14920

Seen others get over the 16k mark.

On stock clocks I got 13829 where Ive seen others get over 14500 (Certain reviews)

Am I missing settings somewhere which is giving me a lower score? CCC is all defaults except for OC and powertune...

According to here... http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1834/12/ Im a bit off.. (I know their GPU clock was slightly higher when OC'd)

On their dues ex page http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1834/5/ they get 188fps where as I get 150fps.

I did ok compared to here though by the looks.. http://www.guru3d.com/article/radeon-hd-7970-crossfire-review/17

So why is everywhere so different?

Yes they were IIRC though just wanted to make sure my cards wasnt faulty. Seems mad I only get 150fps odd in Deus ex on highest settings though so did my 6970's

My processor is not that slow lol

Not sure how?

Been using MSI's afterburner in games to see GPU usage, load, etc, though not CPU?

On 3DMark11 I've just run the benchmark.

Not sure bud. Half these review places that show benchmarks, or when I've seen it from individual people.. They dont show you the settings, just the system spec.

Looks like cpu scores are letting me down, Gpu scores above average, maybe the same with yours.

I've got a 990x though, wouldnt have thought that would have been a bottleneck for me considering its a 6 core chip and Im running it at 4.4ghz?

If its down to pure clock speed most run at 4.7 and 5 gig on Sandybridge, does it actually run all six cores or just outright clock speed.

If you have 2000 more than me, points just by clock speed and not core speed there is you're answer.

Dont forget these guys will extreme overclock just enough to run 3DMark to get a high score, i could, but run stable at my settings 24/7. Its always been competitive to get the highest score `:¬)

6 cores 6 smores.

I don't even know if 11 or Vantage use more than 4.

What I do know is I scored 7800 @ 1000mhz on my 7970 with my I7 950 at stock.

My friend scored 10500 with an I5 2500k @ 4.7ghz and his card at 1000mhz.

The 2600k is actually a fair chunk faster in gaming than the 990x. I read an article on it in Custom PC a while back. Infact, of all of the tests the 990x only won about three and none were anything remotely to do with gaming.

That "fair chunk" was within 10% last time I checked benchmarks :p

Did you put a fresh copy of windows and drivers on i went from tri 6950 to x 7970 and had loads of problems with liw fps. Getting 100+ now in bf3 eyefinity unlike 60-100 on the 6950's.

I dont normally make a habit of putting a fresh copy of windows on. Not unless im getting a new SSD.. Which funnily enough Ill be doing soon.

Will see if there are any improvements. Only put this post up incase the cards were faulty though im guessing there not now.
