on a single one GTX680 it was not a smooth experience for me

It's playable, but not the best experience on my 680 @ +150.
Crysis 2 is the same too maxed out with DX11 and high res (People must be lying about 60 FPS on that)

At 1920x1080 single GTX680 I can get playable frames (Not for everyone though)
On the intro tutorial I was dropping to 20FPS with no action on screen. Rig in sig
Sounds about right.
