Did you do anything to comfort your self

Nothing I've noticed, generally sleep with my front door unlocked, no weapons next to my bed, will generally sleep on top of the bed in summer with no issues as well......

Don't see why people should feel scared in their own home/flat.

Going by the thread title 'DID YOU' I think he means when you were younger.

If living in South Africa has taught me anything, no amount of guards on windows, locks on doors or guns under pillows is going to protect or save me from a sufficiently ambitious burglar/attacker.

This gives me the freedom to not worry. Que Será, Será.

Glancing over when reading, you're probably right.

As a child, no I didn't, probably why I don't think about stuff like this now.

A single footsoldier from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lived under my bed when I was younger, so I never like putting my feet on the floor near my bed at night time, would try and jump onto it from afar, and then when on the bed no part of me could stick out over the edge or they'd of grabbed me for sure and I'd be pulled under the bed in an instance. So of course feet had to be tucked in under the duvet also, and no arms/shoulder sticking out, but my head was ok to be out?

Just two days ago I dragged a heavyish armchair right up to the hotel door I was staying in so no one could get in without me hearing, but that was a very remote country hotel and I was there by myself, literally no other guests, and lots of wild dogs roaming around as well as vagrants too. The hotel was more like a big motel in appearance, so very little security, the door lock was just a little push button type thing for example.

So still like to be safe at night!

Yup as a kid feet had to be tucked in and would sleep next to the wall as far from the edge of the bed as possible. I thought I was a weird kid for doing this but it seems others had the same ideas :D Wonder where they come from?

Just asked my old dear if there was anything she needed to do to get me to sleep at night..
Nope she said..
Apparently I used to kick the bed clothes off myself a lot in my cot. WTF. Probably just too ****in hot. :D

Other than that NOTHING.. Lie me down.. I go to sleep..
Just like now really, head meet pillow.. zzzzzzzzzzzz I'm gone. :D
