Definitely not your hardware, I'm playing it on a system with half those specs (Core 2 duo thing at 3.0, 4gb DDR2 & 8800gtx) and it runs very well. I'm not greedy with the video settings mind and the only issue I have is the odd server lag :)

If it's nothing to do with Blizzards end that any idea what else it could be? Bareing in mind that everything else is running fine. :(

Not really to be honest, and if you're going to rule out server side problems then it must be a software/driver issue on your side as as I said your hardware is far better than mine.
I take it you've updated your drivers, tried minimum video settings, killed any background programs, yada, yada,... ?:)
 
Has it just gone down for anyone ? Was just playing co-op when suddenly all the mobs stopped moving and nothing happened at all for a couple of mins. Couldn't even exit the game, had to alt-f4. Now can't log in again :/

Achievements seem borked again as well. just done a run through of the whole of Act 1 with my son and didnt get a single achievmement. That's twice I've killed the Act 1 boss and still not got the achievement :(

Well I am switching to Sky soon so you never know. :)

I am all on the latest drivers etc... Even did a format to see if that would solve anything but sadly it didn't.

It's really weird, some times are worse than others, like right now it's pretty much OK apart from the odd stutter here and their, and with the sheer amount of people having the same issue on the Diablo forum, something somewhere can't be right.
 
Seems like certain elites in nightmare mods can only be dealt with by wiping on them a couple of times, as in you have to die 3 times to kill them. That's terribad balancing, unless I am missing something. I'm lvl 45 on act 3 right now.
 
doh, just realised i have been playing on the asia servers even though i thought i had selected Eu the other day :/

oh well, good excuse to start again with a DH.

anyway, my battle tag is sfx#1944, although i am gonna do solo first :)
 
[Cynical mode]I'm still fannying around in Act 1 but does anyone else think that there's far more Legendary/Rare/Magical items dropped than either of the first 2 games? I reckon the developers are wearing a +70 gold ring.[/Cynical mode]
