It would have all been fine really if Samsung just made a statement about the issue, what caused it and what they're doing about it and what pebble Blue buyers could get in return, maybe a free few paid app downloads via their Samsung App Store or something I don't know.

I thought they used Samsung apps as a form of punishment in some countries?

I think they will do exactly this TBH, if not then something similar. They've made a huge, unexpected **** up whilst even worse, keeping very quiet about it.

Samsung Apps has been available to all countries on the S2 and other phones since day 1 :p They have different offers and price son there sometimes too.

Also to add the CPW rep i spoke to said it was a fault with glaze on the blue ones chipping off, and it was affecting the whole handset not just the back covers so Samsung have issued a "total recall" of all of the first batch of devices.

Won't fixing that with a new back.

sorry if its been asked , but as a media player (mp3's) how would this compare to the one X with its beats audio ? and are the supplied ear buds any good ?
 
Just got off the phone with Three - they are saying all blue ones are delayed "they'd heard for 2 weeks" and offered to swap it to a white one but I'd need to be quick as stock is low and they start shipping shortly.

They also said communications going out tonight about it.

Disappointed, well who likes getting new stuff, but I'll just wait as I really dont like the white. However if I'd not heard till later this evening I could have taken a day off of work to wait for nothing.
