HAHAHAHA!
Hmmmm -a question for the more knowledgeable....
I'm going to have to do a format/reinstall soon, irritatingly so soon after having origin download the 5gb patch..... is there:
A) anywhere that I can download the patch as a standalone - so I can (ahem) utilise my work's far speedier connection.
Or
B) Is it stored as a file somewhere on my system already, and further to that - in a usable form?
Cheers,
Rich
Is there any practicla benefit for those things, or is it just bling?
Just found out about FXAA Injector after reading this thread last night, tried it out this morning and it made everything worse.
Anyone cares to upload and share their settings please? ta
I do not think so.
You could send an email to EA/Origin and ask them I suppose.... steam are usually good at this, test out Origins customer support.
Cheers - On past experience I won't go holding my breath then!

You could just copy the BF3 folder to an external HDD or something and then place it back in when you've reinstalled windows. Alternatively the bulk of the game is in the Data folder the files cas_01-10 so backing those up and dropping them in would probably save you a chunk of time, there's also a folder called Update with patch and Xpac1+2 which take up the rest of the space. I've moved the game around a number of times no problem, same with steam games it will just replace any files it needs and install it.

go few pgs back copy westies config
I will agree that it makes everything sharper, only thing I have noticed is it seems to take a hit in in performance.
Definitely does not seem as smooth now.
yes turn off msaa and you should get a boost fps wise
keeping msaa on while using the injector is defeating the whole object of using it . i actually think westies is worseuse the default or adjust yourself
yay 100 stars with the m320 !!!!
just like to thank all my victims![]()
