that almost made me smile , almost
all volumes are turned up,i think it stopped working after installing the latest OTA update
Same issue with mine although im rooted, ive had a look in the camera settings but cant see anything there. Im also on the newest update as well but dont know if that caused the shutter sound to be silent.
I also like the new TouchWiz...
What do you like about it?
I been thinking about the design recently. When it announced everyone slated it for being ugly. Now the comments seem to to have disappeared. I personally think it looks better than the HOX and it definitely feels better.

TouchWiz is very fast and smooth. I would use it myself but I need gestures.
Yeah the X just needs to be better optimized with tegra etc. as the one S is just as smooth and quick as the GS 3, only reason GS 3 appears to be smoother is due to the animations.
With jellybean, all phones should be pretty much the same though.
Touchwiz is great for the tweaks/features, it is just the design/UI of their stuff that is awful, IMO the colour scheme is too kiddish/cartoonish, the stock apps don't have any unified feeling to them and everything seems to be all over the place and a bit bloated in the design department.
I find the Gs 3 to be more "comfortable" to hold in the hand than the X despite being larger, however, I think the X "feels" nicer to touch/hold in terms of the finish and a more perceived quality feel to it than the GS 3, if that makes sense
I still stand by my comments!
I don't think you will find many people slating the looks/design now that most of those people own one especially the PB version!
It isn't as bad as what I thought at first along with everyone else especially the colour, but IMO it is the most ugly top end phone for quite a while, loved the GS 2 looks, but just can't get on with the GS 3 design/looks

Well I've tested everything. Speaker sounds ok, mic seems fine, screen seems fine etc etc. No issue yet!
I know their are some various faults with the S3 but I'm trying not to read into them as much.
Love the device though, smashes my 4S out of the water.

Do you prefer it more than sense V4, overall? In your opinion, what do you think of the camera UI/features of touchwiz compared to sense V4 camera?
In what ways does it give the one X "a bit of a pasting"?
How is the battery life so far?

It's just everything really. It's quite a lot faster, much much smoother, the battery life is a lot better, no figures yet but it's dropping a lot slower. I like the feel and look of it most of the time and it also feels very solid.
I wasn't expecting much from the camera but that has impressed me too, it seems noticeably better than the One X and the shutter is faster, and it's also faster at processing the pictures as you take them, it's totally fluid.
TouchWiz seems fairly pretty, fluid and functional. I like the theme in general for the most part.
I think the biggest shock is the screen though, it looks absolutely excellent and I think I prefer it to the One X...

I wonder how some of those areas would compare to the X with the S4 chip.
You need to import/buy a XL now and compare it to the GS 3!
