Hello!

My PC has restarted a few times in the last couple of days - error log says
unexpected shutdown'

I also have these errors..

The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk3\DR3.

Also get

An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk3\DR3 during a paging operation.

On occasion I've had trouble get any of the hard drives detected, even in bios.

I'm concerned that it's all because I didn't know about the recall on this board and never got it replaced :(

--- edit

I ran the seagate tools and one of the hard drives faled the short DST test - doh, two identical drives - gonna be fun determining which one.................

Do you have the old revision of the motherboard or the newer B3?

B2 :(

It will not boot from cold - never has, have to hold the power button in and do it again, then it always goes into the bios and says there was a problem with my over-clocking settings - even if I run everything on default settings it does the same. I have adjusted the settings to accommodate 16gb ram though.

Nothing but trouble this board... I've always just put up with it though

Sounds like thats the problem. If its still in warranty you should be able to RMA it.

Theres some cheap 1155 boards in B grade you could use as a temporary replacement.
