Shame all round, a year of being fit in the champ would (probably) have done his reputation some good. Wolves haven't even cashed in that much at 3m and Stoke probably wont play him enough to see him go too far.

All round not really the best move for anyone.

Would say that's fair enough, 10-12m is more than a fair price for him. He probably would tear the champ up a bit but that kind of money shouldn't really be turned down when there wont be any way to ensure he signs a new contract next year and could end up leaving for a lot less.

Unlikely as it maybe. IF we kept RVP I think we would have a shot at the title. Its going to be a great season either way. Roll on the next ten days! :D

We need for strength in depth at the back. Wenger hasnt done anything to rectify or defence this transfer window.

All he has done is replaced, the players we lost, Nasri and Fabregas and brought in a striker.

We have a lot of players up top now who will be sitting on the bench. Walcott, Gervinho, Arshavin (if he stays).

A massive list of cm/dm midfielders, all of which cant play: Arteta, Wiltshire, Song, Carzola, Diaby, Rosicky, Ramsey, Frimpong.... all going for 2-3 positions.

Best fourthere obviously are Arteta, Wiltshere, Carzola and Song.

Both are very strong and it will be a good fight next season.

Anyone else get the feeling that Moses could be the only actual Di Matteo signing and that the Hazard, Marin & Oscar one's were actually done above his head?

Lets be honest Moses couldn't be further on the other end of the scale than the likes of Hazard :/

Young, talented, foreign, attacking player. Fee in the millions. There are some similarities.
 
Does seem odd.

I don't rate Di Matteo highly enough to think that he would really be able to progress Moses either. Factor in the amount of playing time he will get with Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Malouda, Marin and Sturridge all in the team and bar Malouda ahead of him?

He made a good career decision to go to Wigan when he left Crystal Palace as he could have gone to one of the big clubs and just be stuck out on loan. Martinez has moulded him into a good prem player.
A move to Newcastle or even Swansea if Sinclair leaves would be another good step up i think.



Finally the Lucas move is over as well :p

Await Platini calling out PSG for ruining football and inflating transfers.

Better he goes to PSG than City or Chelsea, or even to someone like Real or Barca. PSG are building an excellent team but they still play in an average, unpopular (compared to the prem and La Liga) league. Still, it is annoying that we've missed on a talented young player such as Moura, I just hope that Fergie has some other transfer targets lined up; Kagawa and possibly RVP isn't enough.
