i want to put the card above into my micro server n40...does anyone know it it will be ok to play movies through hdmi with only having 512 mb of memory thanks

Yes that'd be fine, I don't really see the advantage of the 6450 anyway unless you have a 3d tv.

I have the 5450 in a MPC and it works fine
