The moxxi slots or the weapon? Cos the weapon is a Skullsmasher, the only shotgun sniper in the game, they had one in BL1 too. The slots was either a glitch or a hack though yeah.
Well, in one of the first missions where you have to find his ECHO's scattered around Hammerstone's town, he's very offensive towards some woman who had her face torn off for her looks, which to me screams of bitterness (or maybe it's just because hes a Dbag). Still though, his face is actually stapled on so there must be something under there, I'm voting Alien/Robot/Deformed.
Actually nevermind, a quick google search shows this:
Handsome Jack's name is an anagram of "A Masked John".
Jack's real face can be seen after defeating both him and The Warrior.
In some sense of irony, the vault symbol being on his face is similar to the how bandit Psychos have vault symbols on their masks.
He appears to have heterochromia, but his left (incorrectly coloured) eye is actually a part of his mask.
In the 5th Echo recording of the mission "Get to know Jack" Mr. Tassider says "I know that beneath the ridiculous mask you are still a hideous, pathetic little nobody". This implies that Jack had his mask and scar before he completely took over the company.
I had actually just completed the game last night, and never thought to look at him closely when I picked up his mask. Interesting.
However, I myself was coming to the conclusion that Angel did it. When collecting the ECHO logs around the Arid badlands for more of Jack's backstory (side mission), it seems to be implied that Angel lost control of her powers when she was young and killed her mother. I was assuming that Jack was injured in the same accident.
Seems like that theory was a bit blown out of the water. Looks more like he was just attacked/totured by bandits (possibly branding the vault symbol on his face?), leading to his hatred of all bandits tbh. DLC may reveal more *shrug* I prefer my original theory better
Thing is my backpack was full and i dropped my have assault rifle to grab an orange to sell only for my assault rifle to disappear when i got back ... Disaster.
No i left it between the loot machines i think it just disapear. He donated me orange assault gun that does 5000 damage where mine did 486. But i liked my old one it was a low level but spini gun type with explosive rounds. He gave me free gun worth 40k.
Gearbox dev on twitter, @duvalmagic sometimes tweets shift codes and said he would do again this weeeknd. He also said codes would show up as push messages in game eventually.

It's Randy pitchford, ie. head of Gearbox Yeah, he's been tweeting Shift codes purely so they can stress test the service, with an aim for there to be proper ways of getting codes, etc.

Well the Angel theory is pretty good, and you never know what might happen to somebody if they survive a Siren's attack, the branding on his face could be the same stuff the Siren's are branded with across their bodies.
The Bandit theory is much more plausable, though, as he has an intense hated for Bandit's despite the fact they don't actually cause him any bother anymore, just look at Lynchtown!
Yeah, that's what I was meaning. It pretty much point blank says that in the mission Where Angels Fear to Tread. And after that, Jack keeps ranting at you about his daughter. A tad ****ed for obvious reasons.
I know she's his daughter but I can't really imagine him surviving a Siren tbh, I know in game they are watered down to make it balanced but in the actual lore and story a Siren would kill you, period, as badass as Jack as, it's very unlikely he'd survive a Siren, but it could happen

He could be ranting for a million reasons though, just as much of a chance as Bandits being responsible, due to the branding and his hatred for them (despite being nothing more than a formal Bandit IMO).
Lets face it, he kills anyone and treads over anything, regardless of what it is if it's in the way of his goals, and his goals are to plunder and pillage Pandora, and ultimately control it. That's a Bandit if ever I seen one, I was incredibly shocked that the Bandits were affiliated with him tbh, and the only reason I can imagine him hating them is his face being their doing. I'm pretty sure the Bandits would love to join Hyperion as unofficial enforcers so to speak, so there has to be an extreme reason for the Jack vs Bandits thing. Could just be his narcissism though, too up himself to even realize he is one of them.
First 2 days of the game you could activate all the DLC/pre-order stuff and give yourself 255 keys by changing entries in an ini file. I have about 180 left.
Check this out if you only have a couple of keys and dont want to end up with 4 useless class mods like I did .
All you do is go into the folder where your save folders are and right click the profile file, then change to read only. Then in game you can use all your keys and after saving and quitting the game back to desktop then going back in game again you have all your keys.
Make sure to uncheck read only after you're finished as I think key bindings etc are stored in that profile file.
