Why bother buying fireworks when you can see other peoples for free? Complete waste if money imo.

Fireworks were only fun when I wasn't supposed to have them.
Damn but I hate fireworks, smelly, noisy, dangerous and they wake my kids up. About time we banned them from being sold to average Joe. Official licensed events only, keep them out of the hands of chavs.

I'll probably have a fire. Want to have a good look at my wood?

People are missing the point. We set off fireworks to celebrate foiling an assassination plot on our country's king. It's a patriotic event that ought to be celebrated. You can't start putting a price on it and saying ' I don't understand why folk do it, it's burning money'

I was one of those people that thought you could only get fireworks for a short time, didn't realize that there were shops licensed to sell year round. Kind of tempted to do a little display one random night. Could you do much with £100 though?

Mostly because of how much they effect animals, but also because given how stupid most people are they're a liability having access to them. Should be official events only, on one or two days, not having people setting them off for weeks before and after.

rather lovely stash
Last few years I just haven't had any competition from them. Problem is this year funds are tight so going to be quiet in my area this year
